At Metairie Baptist, safely regathering as a church has been our priority from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited to announce that we will begin in-person services on Sunday, May 31. Below you will find a list of precautions and procedures that we are implementing to keep everyone safe throughout your time on-campus.

Entering and Exiting the Building

  • Upon arrival, enter into the front of the sanctuary located on Codifer (Handicap entry on Orion)

  • Families are asked to approach the entrance together

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available as you enter the building

  • Offering boxes will be situated directly inside and outside the front entrance to limit the passing of the offering plate

  • Upon entry, an usher will direct you to your seat

  • Families will be seated together and kept at least 6ft away from other families

  • Reserved seating will be made available for families with wheelchairs and walkers

  • Everyone is asked to remain in their assigned seat for the remainder of the service

  • At the conclusion of the service, families will be directed on how to exit the building

*Please Note: No preschool or children activities are available at this time. We encourage all children and babies to join us in the sanctuary.

We are a church where you can feel at home as a part of our family. We seek to grow in our relationship with Christ and to impact our world.
